The Real Estate Lawyers Association of Nova Scotia has created a ListServ for the purpose of facilitating communication to and among members. The ListServ exists so that RELANS Members can share information and ideas germane to real property law practice in Nova Scotia. It is an excellent opportunity to share experiences, exchange information, or simply to broadcast a message to the complete RELANS Membership.

 

PURPOSE:  The RELANS ListServ is for Members to share knowledge and ideas on topics related to real property practice and procedures. 

RULES OF USE:

1. Information transmitted by way of the RELANS ListServ is for the exclusive use of RELANS Members in good standing and is confidential.

2.  Advertisements are not permitted on the ListServ unless they are notices of RELANS events.

3.  Users of the RELANS ListServ must adhere to the Use Protocols and make the Acknowledgement below.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:         

1.  RELANS is not the publisher of the ListServ messages and assumes no liability for information shared on this utility.

2.  The RELANS ListServ is not a replacement for individual research and the formation of a professional opinion on any legal matter, nor are messages legal opinion or advice. 

3.  Members may express their opinions via the ListServ, but this does not remove the obligation of each lawyer to form and act upon their own legal opinion.

4.  Any Member posting hostile, derogatory or messages not in accordance with the Rules of Use and Protocols can be unilaterally removed from the ListServ, without notice or recourse, at the sole discretion of the RELANS Executive.
